Our Journey
Psalm 147:3
3 He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds.
Deuteronomy 31:8
8 The Lord himself goes before
you and will be with you; he will
never leave you nor forsake you.
Do not be afraid;
do not be discouraged.”

2 Corinthians 12:9
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

In August 2018, we received a special plate with Isaiah's footprints.

In October 2018, we made a special memory box for little Isaiah. We put it on the wall of our hallway. Every time when we see this box, we have hope and comfort that he is safe in the arms of Jesus. We will meet together in our heavenly home one day!

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
In November 2018, we had Isaiah's life
celebration at home. We shared about
how God comforted us through His
words, the lessons of obedience,
thankfulness, and praise, and our
hope in heaven because of Jesus Christ.
He is the God of our story. His name
is glorified through Isaiah's life.
At the end of the life celebration, we gave our guests glow sticks with Bible verse. Our life is like a glow stick because we have to break it and let it shine. God put brokenness in our life, so we can be the light of other people in their darkness. We encouraged our guests to share this lesson with their family.
Matthew 5:14-16
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
In December 2018, Wendy was pregnant
with her second baby, a precious rainbow baby girl.
Our family story is yet to be continued, but God is the sovereign God our story.
His love never fails. He is such a faithful God!
